About Us

We are a design-led RIBA architecture and interiors practice based in Central London. We are committed to the delivery of well-conceived and thoughtfully detailed architecture. Our projects cover all scales of development and building types, creating spaces to live, work and learn. Our projects include new buildings, extensions to existing buildings and refurbishments at all scales. We believe that architecture should tap into each projects latent potential to foster positive change.

All of our projects are tailored to the specific needs of each of our clients. Our process is collaborative, where we listen to our clients and also add unexpected value through creative design.

We recognise the critical role that the built environment plays in reducing our carbon footprint. Sustainable design aims to reduce our energy consumption, reduce carbon footprint and create a healthier, more resilient space for it occupants.

We use best practice guidelines for sustainable design and we can design in accordance with BREEAM or Passivhaus principles.

As an RIBA Chartered Practice we offer our services as per the RIBA Stages of Work. This takes a project from the very initial design discussions all the way to construction completion. Our services include:

Meeting You. Developing the design brief with you and discussing your project ambitions.
Feasibility Studies. Testing the design brief through feasibility studies.
Design Options. Taking the feasibility studies forward and developing design options.
Planning Submission. Finalising the various options into a planning submission pack for planning approval or listed building consent.
Technical Design. Producing the technical drawings, scope of works and specifications in order to have a comprehensive construction package of information.
Competitive Tendering. We will go out to tender to qualified and trusted contractors in order to obtain a competitive quote.
Project Management. We manage the project as contract administrators and coordinate works on site to ensure that construction is completed to deadline and budget.

Director

Mirsad Krasniqi is an ARB Registered and RIBA Chartered Architect and founding director of KAS. He is responsible for the design and delivery of projects.

Mirsad studied at the Bartlett, UCL, in London and has previously worked at some of the worlds leading architectural practices such as Hopkins Architects, Allies and Morrison, John McAslan + Partners and Henley Halebrown Architects. Mirsad has worked as an architect on award winning projects such as the Natural History Museum, British Library, Oxford University, Lancaster University and Eton College. In addition to this, Mirsad has a large portfolio of experience working on improving existing buildings in London, as well as new-build homes.

This combined experience amounts to 13 years of experience as an established Architect. In addition to this Mirsad is also a visiting critic at the University of East London.
